There is a saying that goes by "A picture is worth a thousand words".
I had this wacky imagination upon seeing this picture and it just lead me to bring in two souls I know and maybe there may truths in it or fantasy that I shall leave for you all to wonder and ponder. Let the journey begin....
Having friends turning to their partners or the other half didn't seem to bother me much as I knew deep down there will be someone somewhere out there. Never did I even think of who will it be , where will I meet the person , How will they look like , Will I give a good impression and etc. but I knew in mind whoever that person is going to be will be someone whom I have known or met as GOD has his mysterious ways to connect people.
We walk the paths we choose and at times we tend to stumble upon diamonds and at times rocks. Diamonds are rare to find and it will be treasured like gold once found but for the world it somehow turns to be a green monster. I found myself two unique diamonds along the path that I was afraid to travel alone but it didn't turn out so bad as it seems. This two unique diamonds what amazes me was the bond between them. Growing up with boys I have seen many kinds of bond but not with this two diamonds. Their bond is incredibly different and as I learn their ways there is no way I can be at their level. The more I try , the more I stumble down. It's not the barriers or the walls it's just that this two diamonds have some sort of telepathy or bro codes of their own that no one will be able to understand. I admire their bond as it is an art of communication of its own.
Knowing their bond , I told one of the diamonds to not let anyone get into your bond as jealousy may occur and trust me out there somewhere someone is highly jealous with bonds you have with someone else thus problems and issues takes place. Anything could happen so bear in mind never take things for granted.
What if one of the diamonds were to fall in love that leaves the other diamond alone but not in this case. There may come a time where the diamond may part ways as the diamond has to fulfill the needs of being committed to a relationship. What happens to the other diamond you may ask ; that diamond will have ways to overcome but will NEVER forget to give the diamond a buzz to say hello
Days...weeks...months...years passed by everything changes as responsibilities increases and commitments.
One day, both the diamonds happen to bump into each other at their once upon a time favorite hot spot. A sudden gush of memories flash through their minds. They decided to sit down and catch up as it has been days..weeks..months passed by so fast. They had their share of laughter as past memories came knocking their minds. It felt good going back to the past and reliving their childhood memories to college memories right to the moment they went different directions to build a better future for themselves. Few hours passed by , both diamonds in a way missed each other's presence and realized they have come along way to reach where they are now.
Time came again where they had to part ways but they promised to meet again soon. As one diamond left to head home ; the other diamond felt like taking a stroll as memories was lingering around. The diamond went to a park and tried to loose the sadness within. No matter how hard the diamond tried to let go the feeling but it kept pestering him.
The park that was once filled with laughter has now turned to a dark , gloomy place where the diamond could feel the presence of loneliness and despair and hurt. The diamond took a look around trying to recall how it was once upon a time. It took awhile for the diamond to realize that time has indeed passed by so fast and the diamond sat on a bench gazing at the park.
The diamond had this sudden feelings coming in mind and the diamond was trying so much to not give in to those emotions. The diamond got up from the bench and walked slowly trying to figure out how to make up for the loss made with the other diamond. The longer the diamond spent at the park ; the diamond seemed to be getting all sort of ideas and plans to repair the bond that the diamonds had once.
The diamond looked at the park from a distance and what the diamond could sense was a feeling of despair and sadness as there were a lot off hidden secrets that this diamond couldn't tell the other diamond as it has been ages since they saw each other. This phrase suddenly was playing in the diamonds mind ".Why is there nothing I can do? I see such pain, such destruction, so many things that shouldn't be happening. There has to be something that I can do. Even if it’s just something small, Anything at all, because I can’t take this anymore ; afterall we grew up together".The diamond felt heart broken and shattered. The diamond broke down in tears and saw a sudden light flickering on the lamp post and the diamond gazed upon the lamp post and asked GOD not to foresake the diamond in his darkest hour. A sudden gush of cold wind appeared and the diamond felt calmed and had a sudden flame of courage burning as it was like a second shot given by GOD ; thus the diamond picked up the cell phone and buzzed the other diamond and told everything that took place.
Being such cool diamonds , all it took was one phone call to fix things between and one diamond to believe in miracles. GOD sure works in mysterious ways and shows the light to people who calls upon him as HE does not foresake anyone in their darkest hour.
Everyone deserves a second chance to prove their worth. Friendships / relationships will have its ups and downs but that doesn't mean it is going to be a bed of roses. It requires FAITH and never for a second doubt in MIRACLES. Coming back to the diamonds ; both the diamonds are back to how they use to be but something never changed that is the park that remained gloomy and eerie at night. As the diamond walks pass there to remind the diamond what good has GOD done ; the diamond indeed is thankful and feels blessed.
One cold night, the diamond just felt like strolling the park at midnight and the diamond noticed a gang chilling and sharing stuffs. The diamond smiled ; as it reminded about the past how awesome it was and the naughty stuff they did and etc. The diamond learnt something at the end of the journey that is "Everything changes except true friendship bond remains solid even heaven or hell can come down but never will it break".
From that day onwards , the diamond has never forgotten about the other diamond no doubt having responsibilities but the diamonds did a commitment of meeting up during the weekends and every year for New Year's they will have a get together to symbolize and cheers to their everlasting friendship.
