THE PEARL

Recently I received a wonderful card about pearls 

from a dear friend :)

I also received a magazine from my brother

that had an article about pearls.

A long story short .

I read the card ,read the article 

and now I'd like to share what I learned.

"Greeting Card"

Once there was an oyster 

who was going through 

some "REALLY" irritating Stuff.

It made a pearl.

Then it made another.

By the time things got better,

The oyster had a necklace and 

some very nice earrings !!!

What I learned 

is a simple reminder that there is 

a silver lining to the stuff  life brings our way .

Lesson : this "Country Girl"  will be wearing pearls one of these days :)

Seriously while we all go through stuff 

sometimes we forget there is a reason 

and in due season it will all turn out the way it is meant to .

TAKE MY HAND

One of the most tragic things I know 

about human nature 

is that all of us tend to put off living .

We are all dreaming of some magical

rose garden over the horizon-------

instead of enjoying the roses that are 

blooming outside our windows today.

The beauty of the sunbeam 

lies partly in the fact 

that God does not keep it ;

He gives it away to us all  :

If we put our problems 

in God's hand,

There is nothing 

we need understand...

It is enough 

to just believe

That what we need 

we will receive

TAKE MY HAND 

.

LET FAITH BECOME YOUR STEPPING STONE

When you travel down life's highway

With an extra heavy load,

When you come upon a byway

That's a deeply pitted road,

Don't hesitate to walk on through,

Let faith become a stepping-stone,

Remember, God is there with you -

You never travel all alone!

As I give thanks,

I keep finding more

Wonderful things 

To be thankful for...

So,thank You ,dear God,

For your gifts from above,

The showers of blessings

You send with Your love !

I try to be good 

But try as I would ,

Sometimes I slip and fall ...

But God looks inside ,

And He knows that I tried ,

And forgives my mistakes one and all .

Just wanted to share some garden thoughts .

Remember a garden can be a single flower pot or 

a huge community lot .

Gardens like people come in all shapes and sizes 

If you want to be happy for an hour ,

throw a party.

If you want to be happy for a week,

kill your pig and eat .

But if you want to be happy 

all your life,

become a gardener.

Chinese Saying

If you never had a garden,

you cannot understand,

and if you have had a garden,

you will know that it would take 

a whole book to describe all 

that came to pass there.

BE THANKFUL

Thankful may I ever be for everything that God bestows.

Thankful for the joys and sorrows, for the blessings and the blows.

Thankful for the wisdom gained through hardships and adversity.

Thankful for the undertones as well as for the melody.

Thankful may I ever be for benefits both great and small

and never fail in gratitude for that divinest gift of all :

the love of friends that I have known in times of failure

and success.

I am so thankful for my friendship..

I am so thankful to you my friend

For all your prayers while I have been sick

For being there each day and showing that you 

cared. 

I feel that God sends us angels in the faces of friends. I believe in guardian angels that are here to help us in some way. The help may be hands on, or it may be in advise, or just showing a overwhelming sense of caring for you or it may come in the form of prayer. 

Everyone has been so great to me and I appreciate all that you do. God bless each and everyone of you that has saw me though this ordeal.
