Hey, Miley, Suzanne Somers is having lots of sex

Earlier this week, Miley Cyrus said on "Today" that she's heard people over 40 "don't have sex anymore." Leave it to Suzanne Somers, 67, to correct the 20-year-old singer. The former "Three's Company" star told the ladies of "The Talk" that she and her husband of 36 years, Alan Hamel, 77, actually have sex "a couple times a day." Listen to your elders, Miley. And in case the pop star needs more proof that 40-and-up can also get down, here are a few other celebs who are sexy in their 60s.

♥ A Haunted Heart ♥

Why these tears never end
Spilling from wounds of deep
Fragments of heart to never mend
Abandoned to forever weep
♥
Why did yesterday now faraway
Leave its images vivid in mind
Remorse ...regret ceaseless portray
Dreams of heart that only blind
♥
Reliving moments past now constant
Try to forget and move on
Entangled within forever haunted
Awaken to discover all that is gone

The One

While I may be a very stubborn realist at heart, instead of scoffing at the usual cliché saying about how there's always 'The One' person for you, me and everyone else in this world, I choose to firmly believe in it.

I mean, it'd be a sadistic sort of personal satisfaction if I could prove it otherwise, but there's just too many living examples floating about in huge happy bubbles right in front of my eyes for me to not acknowledge the truth in that statement. My way of perceiving it, however, evolved as I get older, and also after going through a few heartfelt experiences that, hmmm, hit really close to home..?

The One was initially what I'd like to think of as someone who already co-exists with me in this world, and it is only a matter of whether I'd have the chance to be able to someday, somewhere, find him and live happily ever after woohoo! *throws confetti*

Ahem, that was very cliché.

On the other hand, how I actually perceive things in current times is a different concept that's skews slightly closer to my kind of reality, with more complicated mechanics, unfortunately.

The One that I believe in now, doesn't necessarily already exist in this world for you to coincidentally stumble upon on a fine, sunny day; he or she will eventually exist through the intense confirmation and commitment towards the relationship that you have with them, and the magnitude of effort that you're willing to put in to make things work until the very end.

They come into existence because you truly, and wholeheartedly want them to be, and nothing else that is otherwise.

Being there for those who helped us

I have been blessed with allot of wonderful friends... I've shared that before. I love my friends, and am always there to help in whatever they need. We know each other differently, all the 'good' and all the 'fun' in each other. We enjoy each other's company, and spend time together that we sometimes take for granted.
When we find ourselves or someone we love is suddenly faced with an illness that we think will never hit that close to home, that feeling of helplessness is almost too much to bare. We think that we're, somewhat, invincible.... that we're too strong to have such a devastating illness.

The emotions of discovering such an illness in someone you are so close to, are immeasurable.... you dwell on the realization that a best friend that you always call whenever you want to take a spontaneous road trip.... one who you know will always have your back... one who will keep your secrets.... one who understands you when no one else will.... is facing something that NOBODY should have to face.

It's not fair!!

But God is good, and He will get us through things that we don't understand. I will do whatever I can for my friend, and most of all, I will pray... ALLOT! It's been a very emotional day for me, so if some of this doesn't make sense... it's okay, it doesn't really have to, right now.

I just felt I needed to write something. Thanks for reading it.

Young Love Last Forever Series 4

Thanks Mike and Craig for suggesting writing blogs of Jason's love letters to me I certainly find reading them and writing them helpful. I find that I am drifting off to sleep faster and not tormented by all the ghost that have haunted me for years. Do I still think of Jason ? Yes, but only good things for now. Which has been a God send.

Here I found a letter from Jason he was 14...

Dearest Amber,
You are the reason I want to get out of bed in the morning. You are the reason I don't mind going to school. You are the reason I want to go to college, because I never would without you. But, you inspire me to be the best I can at all things including at love. I would not know what love is without you. To have someone to love me and to inspire me means the world to me.You don't nag, you don't demand, you just suggest and show me options I never thought would ever be possible for me. Like with Engineering you never even suggested it, but got me that assessment test that gave me a list of things I could actually be if I wanted when I grew up. I want to take engineering to witness something come from nothing but hard work.  I think I am picking  Mechanical Engineering. I want you and my parents to be proud of me, but I want to be proud of myself too.
With you I am everything, but without you I am nothing. Sometimes I feel like you are the very air that I breathe and I want to kiss you or hold you so bad. I know there is time for everything else, but it drive me so crazy sometimes. But, I do want us both to be virgins when we get married. I do want to marry you Amber Nicole Wilson and I will someday you can bet your bottom dollar I will. Well enough about the sexy stuff or I will have to walk out of the library backwards, sorry I didn't meant to say that to you but you know that much about how I feel about you.

I was just sitting here in the library thinking about you, but I got my books now and need to start learning something if I am going to be that engineer and buy us that nice house in the uppity part of Atlanta.

I love you Amber with all my heart, soul and body 4-ever your ever
Jason

Young Love Last Forever Series Pt. 3

As I promised my readers and myself I would share Jason and my love stories as a healing process, but I have thoroughly enjoyed reading each one. Especially, the notes passed in school when we were real young. Young love does happen and cannot be dismissed as it sometimes is by parents. I am so glad that my parents and the Taylor's gave our love a chance, but we were both told it was a phase and wouldn't last. No Jason and I were not just let go to experience the love we felt, but we were under constant supervision. It was okay by us since sex was not a issue then, just being together ans spending time with each other.

In this letter it is near the holiday's and we both want to be together which caused a few problems for us.

Amber, I just don't know what to do Thanksgiving is coming up and I want to spend it with you, but my parents say no. I wanted to tell you on the phone last night and night before, but I didn't want to mess nothing up. All we have are the times we can be together which aint enough for me and or calls or letters and sometimes a email. I wanted to call you last night again but it was too late. My parents just get on my nerves. I know I love you and you love me, but they call it puppy love says it a pass. See we suppose to go to my grandma's for Thanksgiving but I would rather come to your house. Your parents are so cool and understand us more I think. I have thought about running away from home it has gotten so bad and when they say I don't love you it makes me so mad. I love my parents and they are usually cool except for this.

I LOVE YOU AMBER NICOLE WILSON!  For me you are the only girl alive. For me you make the world go around. Without you the world would fall off its axles and we would all plummet to our death. When we have been together there is always somebody there and I want to kiss you so bad, but I don't know it I am a good kisser or you would like it? I will only kiss you if you want to and I don't want to kiss you in front of no body ok? Let me know if you ever want to kiss me and we will find a way to make it happen. I think your lips would taste sweet like bubble gum. Have you ever thought about kissing me?

This Thanksgiving thing will you have your mom call my mom and try and work something out? I need to see you and after all the holidays is about spending them with the people you love and I love you.

I Love You
Jason

(now present) I remember that Jason's mom said no and we were very discouraged. But, I remember that Jason's grandmother fell down the steps on the way out to the grocery store 3 days before Thanksgiving and broke her hip. I don't remember what all was wrong with her but it was more than a broke hip since I remember they put her in the ICU in the second day. Jason's grandmother was as tough as they came, but she did not take care of herself. She was always taking care of others bless her heart. Yes, she is still alive and well and living Conyers Ga. But, I remember that Jason's mom said that he could come and stay with us since his grandmother was in the hospital. Jason actually got to stay at my house, sit at my table and eat Thanksgiving dinner among other meals. We actually had our first kiss hiding under the stairs, but believe me we had separate rooms and eyes were on us at all times. I remember that my mom drove us to the hospital and took food out to the house and Jason and we took it all in and put it up so the entire family could eat later. I remember my mom made a turkey just for their family. Everything started going well after that between our families. I remember we spent Christmas between both places that year and nothing kept us apart again ever. Well until he died.

Letting Go Although It Is Hard...

I cannot Hear This Song and Not Think Of You Jason...

I know life is over for us as we knew it. I know that you are gone from me forever, never to return. No it is not fair, but I have stopped questioning God about it. I know it was not his fault, my fault but just a freak accident. I know just because you died that night and that I love you that I do not have to die with you. For you see that is what I have done my love. I died a little more each day that I had to spend on this earth without you. I have said that I have searched for a love other than you, but in reality I just didn't want to be alone. But, as we both know that cannot work, and it is not fair to the person I am with as long as I am in love with you.

I must admit since reading your love letters to me, it has helped me to heal. I am no longer out on that dark desolate road alone searching for you, but remembering us in the good times. We were so good together, we could finish each others sentences, and everyday was a good day as long as you were near. We read the paper to each other on Sunday's and it was my turn to read to you next. In fact that very next morning. That morning that never came or will never come again. We showered together and you washed my back and I washed yours. You loved to shave my legs and had even washed my hair in a basin. I can still feel the water that you pour upon my hair, massaging ever so gently. We were so hands on together and not just in a sexual way, but a sensual one. Something I have never known before or after.

I am still letting go my love, yet I love the way you loved me. I am smiling at you today Jason and I just know you are smiling back.

I don't want to fall asleep, cause I'd miss you baby and I don't want to miss a thing...

Falling in Love

Falling in love maybe one of the greatest feelings ever. There is an actual chemical process that happens to a person who is falling in love. All of the senses have a greater intensity. Colors
seem brighter, sounds more resonant and smells more powerful when
you are in love. When you are with your lover there is no greater feeling in the world, and when you're not you spend all your time thinking of each other. Falling in love is truly an awesome feeling.

Whenever I'm around you,
I feel like life's complete.
I don't know what to say,
But you make my heart beat.

I'm scared to say hello,
But it hurts to say good-bye.
Whenever I'm around you,
I feel like life's complete.
I don't know what to say,
But you make my heart beat.

Why is it when I look in your eyes,I see the love burning inside me.
why is it when you hug me,
the world melts with us.

I'm not scared to love you.
I'm okay when your around.
You've given my heart a soundtrack.
I happen to like the sound.

To you I might just be a little girl,
but give me the one chance.
I could show you a whole new world.
So take my hand and let me lead this dance.
Sometimes I wonder how I feel about you,
Scared of these feelings because it’s still new
I catch myself thinking of the best way to share,
Hoping you’ll return my confession showing you

How to Lose Her in One Week

Once you overcome a few nerves, getting past the first date hurdle isn't too hard – it's maintaining a constant attraction and moving into the relationship zone afterwards that many guys find that they start to lose the girl. What are you doing wrong?

Be predictable

If you really like someone, chances are you've set the bar really high to impress them in the first few dates: You've gone to romantic dinner places, came up with mysterious date ideas, and acted like the kind of guy every girl wants: the creative and unpredictable romantic.

The problem with that schtick, however, is that you're acting like the guy every girl wants. Sooner or later, the act's going to get blown and you'll soon revert to the standard-fare dinner-movie date ideas. So while you may be interested in her, she, however, will take the back-peddling to “regular” dates as a sign that you're uninterested and giving up the chase.

Solution: Don't go all out to impress her all the time – as we've said before, it's not your job to entertain her by playing the role of her ideal date. There's nothing wrong with the regular date – if she likes you, enjoying your company should be what matters – as long as you mix it up occasionally with something special once every two or three dates.

Call or text her all the time

No one likes to be a pest; the guy or girl who constantly bugs their date for attention, and gets insulted when there's no reply. A person who does that says two things about themselves: (1) They're insecure about themselves and need constant validation that someone likes them; and (2) they can't respect a person's time and space.

The bottom line is this: if she likes you, she'll text back soon. And if she doesn't pick up the phone? Don't call again and again as if you're having a heart attack – leave her a polite text about what you wanted to say.

Solution: If she doesn't reply to your messages immediately a few times, it doesn't mean she's brushing you off. But, if she does it most of the time, and her answers are curt and non-committal, chances are she's not interested. And so what? Pick yourself up again and move on. Remember: Attraction's a two-way street, and you won't change her mind by pestering her.

Don't take charge

“I'll do anything you want to, dear” is the last thing you'd want to say to a girl. It speaks of an indecisive character. Be proactive; make suggestions about where to go or what to do, and nudge her if she's undecided about something out of her comfort zone. This isn't to say that your decisions are final and not up to negotiation – that's just being inconsiderate and chauvinistic.

Solution: Always take the initiative to ask her out, plan the night out, and when the time comes, know when to make the first move. If you want to lose her within a week, be passive and do nothing.

Second guess what she feels

It's normal in wanting to have a sense of control over the relationship. You want to be the guy who anticipates what she feels, knows what to say at the right time, is so connected to her that you can finish her sentence before she does.

The truth is, there's nothing more annoying than a guy who wants to get into her head and anticipate her thoughts before she can speak them. These wants may be well-intentioned, but carry on and she'll soon be pleading for some “space”, with a break up inevitable.

Solution: Don't try too hard, son. There are some thoughts that women choose to reveal to other people besides you. Don't pester her with constant questions of “What are you feeling/thinking right now?”. More importantly, don't assume the reasons for her annoyed emotions and tell her your theory. You'll always be wrong.

Playing too hard to get

You may think waiting a week or two before sending a text will make her want you more, but by that point any girl will have moved on to the next guy that comes along. Screw playing games here: make your move or else she’ll make hers—on someone else.

Solution: After a date, just send a text message saying that you had a nice time, and look forward to the next time when you meet again. That way, the ball's in her court, and it's up to her to make the next move.

Crazy About Her? Send Her the Right Signals

You can be straight up but where’s the fun in that? Be sure you send out the right signals...
Be yourself. Nothing is sexier than a man who’s comfortable in his own skin, be it a wild child or a nerd.
Treat service staff with respect. How you treat them is a sneak preview into your attitude towards other people, especially her. She’ll be paying attention. She always does.
Switch off the phone or put it on silent and put it away. Make sure she’s the object of your attention for the entire night, not your shiny new smartphone.

10 questions you should ask the person you’re dating

If you were going for a job interview you would have a huge list of questions to ask the company, so why would you not prepare some questions for your date?

Are you a saver or a spender?
Although we all like to think money doesn't matter when it comes to love, if you’re going to get serious with your date you need to know if they are a saver or a spender and understand how their attitude to money corresponds to your habits.
How to ask this question: To subtly ask this question ask your date where they went away this year. If the location seems to be within their means when you consider their job then your date is probably good with cash.

Are you seeing anyone else?
Establishing where you stand and what kind of relationship you are in is really important if you don’t want to end up hurt or hurting your date. Find out what they think your relationship is to avoid unnecessary confusion.
How to ask this question: There is no subtle way of asking this question and it is best to simply ask it directly. Prepare another topic of conversation though in case the situation becomes awkward once you have asked.

The list
Once you've been dating for a little while and you think you could get serious with your date it’s time to write down the names of every person you have dated or slept with. You might think nothing is worth this humiliation, but finding out three months into a relationship that your boyfriend slept with your sister and never called her back is not a fate anyone should have to suffer.
How to ask this question: Watching a film where a couple write a list of people they dated is a great way to introduce the idea and will help you to ask this question.

Do you have children?
You would be surprised by the amount of people who don’t ask whether their date has kids and by how many parents struggle to tell their date that they have children when not asked.
How to ask this question: If you want to ask this question you could talk about one of your friends or relatives who have kids and then after telling a funny anecdote about their children casually ask your date if they have children.

Why did you break up?
Why past relationships in your date’s life broke down can reveal a great deal about your date. Not only can you judge their values from past break ups, you can also begin to understand any insecurities they may have inherited as a result of their ex. Remember though, their explanation for a break up is just one side of the story.
How to ask this question:  Avoid talking about exes on your first few dates, but after you've gone out together four or five times then you could begin to talk about your own ex and how you broke up. Once you've finished you can then ask about your current date’s past break ups.

Religion and politics
Religion and politics are very sensitive topics and in part they are sensitive because they are important to people. Knowing how your views about the world correspond will help you understand one another better and help you judge whether you have a future together.
How to ask this question: To ask directly what someone’s religious and political views are can be seen as being blunt and it can sometimes be best to ask questions about your date’s life and their opinions on current affairs, which in turn will reflect their religious and political views.

Can I meet your friends?
This is a very telling question and you need to watch your date’s reaction closely if you want to understand how they feel about you. If they seem really keen for you to meet their friends then it’s a sign they really like you, but if your date seems a little hesitant perhaps they’re not quite ready for that level of commitment yet.
How to ask this question:  Wait for your date to talk about one of their friends or what they got up to at the weekend before asking whether you could meet their friends soon. This will make the question seem less planned and it will seem more natural.

Marriage
If you've got your heart set on tying the knot or if you can’t see yourself ever wanting to get married then it’s best to share your opinion on weddings as early as possible. Although the connection you feel is important, for a relationship to work your plans for the future have to compliment each others, so be honest and share your thoughts about marriage.
How to ask this question: Chances are if you’re thinking about weddings then so are your friends. If someone you know gets engaged or actually has their wedding whilst you are dating use this opportunity to bring up the topic of marriage.

Pets
It seems like the silliest of things when you begin dating but if your date is a big dog lover and you can’t stand animals then this may cause a big problem five years down the line.
How to ask this question: Ask your date if they have any pets. If they don’t then ask them why; they may be pet-less because of their circumstances and not because they don’t desperately want animals.

Hobbies
When they are single, people tend to fill their lives up with friends, volunteering, hobbies and work. Yet once you start to date someone seriously you need them to give up some of their activities in order to give your relationship the time and attention it needs to succeed. Some people struggle to do this though and it can cause a lot of heartache.
How to ask this question: Ask your date what the most important things in their life are and try to gauge whether their sports team is always going to be number one in their life.

10 ways to know you're no longer in love

Attracted to other people
Checking out a cute waiter or having the odd secret daydream about a beautiful celeb is perfectly normal and feeling attracted to someone in this way is not a sign that you are no longer in love. Yet if you start to feel strongly attracted to someone ‘real’ in your life, like a colleague, for example, or a friend, then this may be a sign you need to break up with your partner.

Your life is too full
When you first began dating your partner do you remember how you used to rush home from work just so you could be together? In a long-term relationship you can’t expect to want to spend as much time with your partner as you used to do when you first began dating, but if recently you've been filling up your days and your nights and your partner is not a part of your plans, it might be a sign you’re no longer in love.

You can’t forgive them
Sadly most relationships are marked by upset and most healthy relationships also involve a certain amount of forgiveness too. If you are struggling to forgive your partner for something that previously you would have been able to get over, you should ask yourself why. Can you not forgive them because you don’t love them?

You go clammy over commitment
Your relationship should always be moving forward and although you might have felt comfortable moving in together a few months ago, how do you feel now? Does the next step – whether that involves meeting their parents or having a baby – freak you out? If you begin to go clammy over your partner’s questions about commitment it might mean you no longer want to be in your relationship and you need to talk through these feelings with your boyfriend or girlfriend.

You don’t want to help them do their accounts
When you love someone you want to do anything for them and will offer your help and support when they need it. One sign that shows you might have lost that loving feeling is if you no longer want to give them that help and when they ask for your advice or assistance you resent them for needing you.

You look for fights
Some days, when you are in a stinking mood, fights can erupt easily and are a natural part of life. Yet if you are constantly looking for fights and blow up normally insignificant annoyances, making them into a big deal, it might be because you secretly want to break up with the person you are seeing. The next time a fight breaks out think about why you are so upset and whether the blame you are dishing out is deserved.

You don’t want to have sex
Love is very physical and although it’s perfectly normal for your sex life to not be as wild or as passionate as it was in those early days, sex should still be a significant part of your relationship. If you have lost the urge to have sex with your partner it may be because you haven’t done it in a while. If you are comfortable doing so, try to make sex a priority for a few weeks and if you still don’t want to get intimate with your partner after that period it might indicate that you’re no longer in love.

You’re not in sync
Body language experts believe that it is possible to tell when couples are no longer in love with each other by the way they move and interact when together. For example, if the man goes to hold the hand of his girlfriend and as he does so his girlfriend brushes her hair from her face with the hand he went to hold, it reveals an underlying discordance between the couple and shows they are no longer in sync.
If you find that there are lots of instances where your actions clash and your body language is awkward when together, it could be a sign you've lost your connection and you are no longer in love.

You’re holding out for better
Although you’re relatively happy in your relationship if you secretly think that there is someone better out there for you then chances are you are not in love.  Believing that someone else is more suited to you or hoping that this is not The One clearly shows you that you are no longer in love with your partner and it might be time to face the situation head on and think about breaking up.

You doubt your feelings
In the movies when teenagers aren't certain whether they are in love or not, some wise owl tends to tell them that: ‘You’ll just know when you are’. Similarly, if you doubt your feelings and are having to ask yourself whether you’re no longer in love with your partner, then the chances are you’re not in love – you should just know.
Remember though that love is never continuous and there will be some days when you feel bowled over by the strength of your feelings towards your partner and other days when you don’t feel that strongly at all.

5 secrets he’ll never tell you

Secrets and scandals are a part of everyone’s life and even if you think you and your boyfriend are immune from the scurrilous dramas that affect every other couple, you’d be wrong. Even the most honest men keep secrets.

#1. Did he love you back then?
Although most chick flicks depict all guys as being hopeless commitment-phobia, in reality it would seem that a lot of men actually announce those three killer words prematurely. Did your man tell you he loved you too soon? If he did, it may not have been because he instantly fell in love with your pretty smile and sharp wit; he may just have said those three little words to get laid.
A study from the Journal of Personality and Social Psychology found that men tended to say they loved girls because they thought it would increase their chances of having sex with them. If you are now beginning to doubt your guy’s intentions, don’t bother asking him for the truth unless you have a lie detector machine to hand – he won’t tell you the true reason why he declared his love to you and never will.

#2. Why he called you by his ex’s name
When your boyfriend accidentally calls you by his ex’s name it can feel as if your whole world is crumbling around you. Do you act casual and just shrug it off, or is there a more sinister truth behind his slip up?
Well, if you take note of a study that found that a quarter of all British men want to get back with their first love then you might want to raise a few issues with your guy. However, even if you did confront him would he tell you the truth? It would seem not, as the study also found that a whopping one in six men are still secretly in touch with their ex.
#3. That he’s depressed
More than five million men in the US are thought to have depression, yet the figure may be higher because many guys don’t talk about their feelings. Studies have found that guys are much less likely to admit to feeling depressed than women.  Although studies have not concluded why this is, it may be because some men want to live up to a macho stereotype, whilst others are unsure who to turn to for help.
To help your boyfriend, be aware of the signs that indicate your man is depressed. He may be unusually tired, have lost his sex drive or have new health problems like backache, constipation, diarrhea or headaches. There are lots of other symptoms too, but these are some common signs to look for and be aware of.

#4. His long-term plan
So, on a Sunday morning you often lie in with your boyfriend and talk about your future. You talk about getting married, the amount of kids you’ll have and where you’ll both settle down. Although you think this is a two-way conversation and that you are both being honest and frank with one another, be warned, things may not be as they seem.
Men will often go along with this fairytale-like game, but their actual long-term plan is very different. If you think your guy might just be placating you, ask them concrete questions, like ‘At what age do you want kids?’ and, ‘If we moved to the suburbs, how would I get to work?’. Although he may not have the answers to these questions (because, in reality, who does?!) his reaction may become defensive and angry. That’s a sign he’s keeping his long-term plan a secret.

#5. He wants a hug
We all had our suspicions, but now the truth is out; men love to hug. A study undertaken by the Kinsey Institute found that, for men, hugging and kissing were very important to their overall happiness in a relationship. Yet, for women, the study found sexual satisfaction was more important to their happiness within a long-term relationship.
So, the next time you see your boyfriend give him a big squeeze because the chances are, he’s desperate for a cuddle but won’t ever ask for one.

Signs you've found ‘The One’

How to tell if you are in love
In life, there are certain things you are 100 per cent certain of. For example, you know that you can’t stand that creep from finance and that, no matter how hard you try, you just can’t pull off the Dougie in a club. Yet annoyingly, there are other things in this world that we can’t be sure of and, as luck has it, they are often the really important things in life; like knowing if you have found ‘The One’.
#1. You have that post-exercise look : After sweating it out at the gym or flinging your limbs about in a Zumba class most of us are left with a red face, a beating heart and clammy hands. Interestingly, studies have found that we experience similar physical reactions when we are in love. So, if you want to know if you've found ‘The One’ pull out a mirror and have a good hard look at yourself; do you have that post-exercise look?
#2. You've developed mild OCD : A group of Italian scientists conducted a study in 1990 that found that people who had fallen in love showed symptoms of OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). So if you find yourself becoming a little more obsessive about certain things that normally would not bother you, it might be a sign that you are head over heels in-love.
#3. You've turned into a vampire : For all of the Twilight fans amongst you, we’re sure you’ll be thrilled to hear that when you are in love you take on a few vampire-like traits. Scientists believe that people who have recently been bitten by the ‘love bug’ lose their appetites and may need less sleep than normal. These changes are thought to be instigated by chemicals and hormones within the brain.
#4. You can talk about that drunken night out : With your previous boyfriends or girlfriends, how did you resolve past issues? Did you scream and shout at one another and feel as if your views were never heard? Did you bottle everything up and pretend that your ex’s actions never hurt you? If you can see a significant shift in the way you both deal with issues in your current relationship and you feel like you can both communicate any problems you face then it’s a strong sign that you are right for one another.
#5. Your mum approves : You may not think that your mum or dad’s opinion counts for much when it comes to the love of your life, but if your family or your friends hate the person you are dating it’s a sign they are not right for you. Your family and friends will only want what is best for you and therefore, if they don’t like your new partner, chances are they’re bad news.
#6. You’re over your ex : In the past, you may have always had a few lingering feelings towards your ex. Yet now, your new relationship has made your ex seem insignificant and your old relationship has been truly superseded by this new guy or girl. Feeling as if you are completely over your ex is another clear sign that you've found ‘The One’.

5 signs your relationship is over

How to spot a dead-end relationship
Do you feel like you're stuck in a relationship rut but aren't sure whether things will ever change? It's normal for relationships to hit the odd rocky patch, but if you experience three or more of the signs below and 'the chat' hasn't resolved anything, it's often a sign that the fat lady has sung and Elvis has well and truly left the building. In other words, it's over.
1: Incompatible goals for the future
They say that opposites attract, but when you want children and your other half panics at the mere mention of parenthood, or your partner wants to immigrate to another country and you want to stay put, this kind of opposition can cause a problem. Whilst it's possible to work through such mis-matched goals and reach a fair agreement that both parties are happy with, sometimes it's hard to do that without thwarting your – or your partner's – dreams. Perhaps the most unhealthy thing you could do to your relationship at this point is try to persuade one another to sacrifice future plans in order for you to stay together. Not only is this selfish, but more often than not it leads to feelings of resentment between you and your other half, which often results in a break-up anyway. If there's no compromise and you feel as though your plans for the future are being jeopardized, it's probably best to part ways for the sake of your freedom and happiness.
2: Sneaking around
The key to a great relationship is honesty and trust, so if your partner is sneaking around then it defeats the object of being in an intimate relationship and you need to tackle the problem head on. Go about it carefully though; following him/her into town to 'catch them in the act' only to find that they were purchasing your surprise birthday present could lead to all sorts of complications, and you don't want to risk being the embarrassed guilty party. Instead, it's a good idea to communicate with a secretive partner to make it clear that you've noticed they're up to something and you're offended that they couldn't talk to you about it. If you still feel like your other half is up to something, it might be a good idea to call it a day on your relationship as the trust barrier has clearly been broken.
3: No special gestures
After weeks or months of being wooed by your other half in the early stages of a relationship, when the dust begins to settle it can feel as though Cupid has disappeared off the face of the earth and suddenly you're stuck in a relationship rut. We're not expecting to be swept off our feet and taken away to an exotic island to be showered in expensive gifts, but many couples often lose sight of the small romantic gestures that make the relationship feel that bit more special. If special gestures are sparse in your romance, this by no means suggests that it's over; you may just need to make a little more effort to be romantic – suggest more things to do together and the problem should be resolved in no time. However, if after a conversation you realize that all romantic gestures have stopped because you no longer feel as strongly for your partner as you once did, this is a sign that your relationship should come to an end.
4: You can't seem to leave the past in the past
Relationships where the past can't seem to be left where it belongs are often a recipe for disaster. If you're having an argument, respond appropriately to what is happening here and now, not what happened six weeks ago. Granted – past issues can cause an underlying problem in the relationship if they are never spoken about, but once a problem has been addressed it's time to move on from it. It's a common deal-breaker in relationships to keep bringing up past issues during an argument to use as ammunition against your other half. If you can't learn to forgive and forget – or your partner can't learn to forgive and forget a mistake that you have made – then it might be time to cut all ties and start afresh.
5: You're constantly bickering
Arguing is a natural way to get things off your chest and emphasize what's upsetting or annoying you to improve your relationship in the long-run, but when things have soured to the point that you spend more of your time arguing than not, it's often time to raise the red flag. Healthy relationships are about having good conversations and being happy when you're around your other half, not constantly being surrounded by negativity and feeling angry or upset. Don't be tempted to stick together when all you do is fight; as easy as this is to do, you will end up feeling even more miserable in the long run.

5 easy ways to make your relationship stronger

Make your relationship better by addressing old issues : Fights, jealousy and previous misdemeanors upset our little bubble of romance and can make relationships a tricky minefield. If you find yourself constantly arguing over the same issues, or blowing up in anger over the smallest of triggers, it may be because you and your partner have not addressed some old issues. Next time this happens, try to stay calm and work out why you have reacted in this way. If you recognize that you are angry about something that has happened in the past it is time to be brave and sit down with your partner to discuss it. Try not to accuse them. Instead talk through the problem, being as clear as possible about the way you feel. Try to look them in the eyes, as this helps build trust and intimacy. Once you've talked through your feelings attempt to work out a solution together. Although it may take a long time to heal this unresolved issue, if you feel you cannot forgive the person, it may be time to walk away. These issues will only continue to repeat themselves.                                                                                                                                                                                         Make your relationship better by taking time out :Between going to work, keeping fit and doing chores, it can be difficult to find the time to spend some decent time with your partner. In the UK alone, a typical childless couple only spends an average of two and a half hours a day with their partner, and of that time nearly an entire hour is spent watching TV. If that sounds familiar it’s time to make some changes. Firstly, have a TV ban and take your partner on some dates. If you’re struggling for ideas, pretend that you are going on your first few dates. Where would you take a guy or girl to impress them; a romantic hillside spot for a picnic or a trendy bar to see a new band? Choose locations that allow you both to talk to one another and ideally that are new to you both. Sharing new experiences will help reinvigorate your love life and will bring you both closer together. Remember, these dates are all about fun, so enjoy it.                    Make your relationship better by changing gender : The opposite sex can seem like a different species. Men and women have different habits, ideals and needs. Therefore it’s no surprise that we often find it difficult to get along with each other. The key to a good relationship is to understand that we are not alike. We will not always share the same attitudes or perspectives. So, the next time your guy tells you that you are overreacting, or your girl tells you that you don’t care, listen to them. Instead of exploding with rage at their idiocy, ask them why they think that and actually take what they say on board. You then need to explain, clearly and calmly, why you think otherwise. This is not to say that you should use their gender as an excuse when they treat you badly. However, trying to get into one another’s mindset and understanding why your partner acts in a certain way may help you overcome many nasty obstacles and end a lot of fights.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    Make your relationship better by getting more sex : Sex can be a chore. After a long day at work do we really want someone getting hot and sweaty on us? We could have another 20 minutes in bed! Yet, the more we do it the more we want it. So at times, although it sounds very unromantic, it can be best to just power through and do it a few times a week. Once you've combated your reluctance, you’ll reap all of the benefits. Not only are there zillions of health perks to having regular sex, your relationship will also benefit. This is because when we have sex the love drug, oxytocin, is released, which makes us build up a strong bond with the guy or girl we’re in bed with. It also promotes trust and makes us feel more generous towards one another. The best way to get more sex is to make sure you and your partner consider it to be a priority. Also try to find a time that suits you. If you get too tired to have sex before bed, try to do it in the morning or when you first get home.                                                                                                                                              Make your relationship better by spending time apart : Okay, we know that we are at risk of contradicting ourselves, but relationships are all about balance. So although you need to make sure you spend quality time together, it’s also not healthy to live in a two person love nest constantly.  Not only will your partner’s every move start to irritate you beyond belief, but boredom may begin to creep into your relationship. Having your own interests, social scene and hobbies will help keep you stimulated, balanced and healthy, and these qualities will inevitably also pass on into your relationship too. The trick to spending time apart is to agree with your partner how much “time off” you want to give each other. Once agreed, find something that excites you. This may be a holiday with friends, a charity challenge or training for a new event, like a 10k or marathon. Choose something that helps you develop as an individual as this will help you feel more independent and more interesting within yourself and your relationship.

Shine Bright Like a Diamond

There is a saying that goes by "A picture is worth a thousand words".

I had this wacky imagination upon seeing this picture and it just lead me to bring in two souls I know and maybe there may truths in it or fantasy that I shall leave for you all to wonder and ponder. Let the journey begin....

Having friends turning to their partners or the other half didn't seem to bother me much as I knew deep down there will be someone somewhere out there. Never did I even think of who will it be , where will I meet the person , How will they look like , Will I give a good impression and etc. but I knew in mind whoever that person is going to be will be someone whom I have known or met as GOD has his mysterious ways to connect people.

We walk the paths we choose and at times we tend to stumble upon diamonds and at times rocks. Diamonds are rare to find and it will be treasured like gold once found but for the world it somehow turns to be a green monster. I found myself two unique diamonds along the path that I was afraid to travel alone but it didn't turn out so bad as it seems. This two unique diamonds what amazes me was the bond between them. Growing up with boys I have seen many kinds of bond but not with this two diamonds. Their bond is incredibly different and as I learn their ways there is no way I can be at their level. The more I try , the more I stumble down. It's not the barriers or the walls it's just that this two diamonds have some sort of telepathy or bro codes of their own that no one will be able to understand. I admire their bond as it is an art of communication of its own.

Knowing their bond , I told one of the diamonds to not let anyone get into your bond as jealousy may occur and trust me out there somewhere someone is highly jealous with bonds you have with someone else thus problems and issues takes place. Anything could happen so bear in mind never take things for granted.

What if one of the diamonds were to fall in love that leaves the other diamond alone but not in this case. There may come a time where the diamond may part ways as the diamond has to fulfill the needs of being committed to a relationship. What happens to the other diamond you may ask ; that diamond will have ways to overcome but will NEVER forget to give the diamond a buzz to say hello

Days...weeks...months...years passed by everything changes as responsibilities increases and commitments.

One day, both the diamonds happen to bump into each other at their once upon a time favorite hot spot. A sudden gush of memories flash through their minds. They decided to sit down and catch up as it has been days..weeks..months passed by so fast. They had their share of laughter as past memories came knocking their minds. It felt good going back to the past and reliving their childhood memories to college memories right to the moment they went different directions to build a better future for themselves. Few hours passed by , both diamonds in a way missed each other's presence and realized   they have come along way to reach where they are now.

Time came again where they had to part ways but they promised to meet again soon. As one diamond left to head home ; the other diamond felt like taking a stroll as memories was lingering around. The diamond went to a park and tried to loose the sadness within. No matter how hard the diamond tried to let go the feeling but it kept pestering him.

The park that was once filled with laughter has now turned to a dark , gloomy place where the diamond could feel the presence of loneliness and despair and hurt. The diamond took a look around trying to recall how it was once upon a time. It took awhile for the diamond to realize that time has indeed passed by so fast and the diamond sat on a bench gazing at the park.

The diamond had this sudden feelings coming in mind and the diamond was trying so much to not give in to those emotions. The diamond got up from the bench and walked slowly trying to figure out how to make up for the loss made with the other diamond. The longer the diamond spent at the park ; the diamond seemed to be getting all sort of ideas and plans to repair the bond that the diamonds had once.

The diamond looked at the park from a distance and what the diamond could sense was a feeling of despair and sadness as there were a lot off hidden secrets that this diamond couldn't tell the other diamond as it has been ages since they saw each other. This phrase suddenly was playing in the diamonds mind ".Why is there nothing I can do? I see such pain, such destruction, so many things that shouldn't be happening. There has to be something that I can do. Even if it’s just something small, Anything at all, because I can’t take this anymore ; afterall we grew up together".The diamond felt  heart broken and shattered. The diamond broke down in tears and saw a sudden light flickering on the lamp post and the diamond gazed upon the lamp post and asked GOD not to foresake the diamond in his darkest hour. A sudden gush of cold wind appeared and the diamond felt calmed and had a sudden flame of courage burning as it was like a second shot given by GOD ; thus the diamond picked up the cell phone and buzzed the other diamond and told everything that took place.

Being such cool diamonds , all it took was one phone call to fix things between and one diamond to believe in miracles. GOD sure works in mysterious ways and shows the light to people who calls upon him as HE does not foresake anyone in their darkest hour.

Everyone deserves a second chance to prove their worth. Friendships / relationships will have its ups and downs but that doesn't mean it is going to be a bed of roses. It requires FAITH and never for a second doubt in MIRACLES. Coming back to the diamonds ; both the diamonds are back to how they use to be but something never changed that is the park that remained gloomy and eerie at night. As the diamond walks pass there to remind the diamond what good has GOD done ; the diamond indeed is thankful and feels blessed.

One cold night, the diamond just felt like strolling the park at midnight and the diamond noticed a gang chilling and sharing stuffs. The diamond smiled ; as it reminded about the past how awesome it was and the naughty stuff they did and etc. The diamond learnt something at the end of the journey that is "Everything changes except true friendship bond remains solid even heaven or hell can come down but never will it break".

From that day onwards , the diamond has never forgotten about the other diamond no doubt having responsibilities but the diamonds did a commitment of meeting up during the weekends and every year for New Year's they will have a get together to symbolize and cheers to their everlasting friendship.

Love Is About Taking Chances

LOVE or LIKE you decide =D
Being around people who has relationship with their other half has brought me one step closer to actually understanding them. Relationships are indeed a roller coaster ride and it is never a bed of roses. TRUST ME when I tell you that. There is one incident I love and the view of it is just wow like wow wow.

As we all know every relationship starts off as friendship. This two characters I am going to introduce are college mates as that's how they met. This boy I shall name him Q and the girl I shall name her H.  You readers ready for adventures ? Here goes ....

Q met H in college as mentioned above. Everyday H would go have lunch or tea just to know Q. Although Q was busy ; he would set aside everything and spend some time with H. So many days , weeks and months passed and they grew fonder towards each other. It felt like they knew each for so long. It was indeed a special bond what they both shared to the extend some people thought Q and H are together.

Few months through their friendship , H found herself in a relationship with someone else. That I must say was a turning point for the both of them I guess. When Q found out that , he distanced himself and never saw H at all. On the other hand, H was trying reach Q but every attempt it failed. It came to a point where H got herself embarassed and Q was watching that incident.

It was months later , Q knew H was back being single. Another turning point much? Q was into another girl and H was happy for him. Sadly , Q was not able to get the girl he wanted. Q was cool as he got to spend time with H.

Their friendship was massive for two years. H and Q always fight and tease and bully one another. Did I mention if fight it's massive fight over petty stuffs. The beauty of the fights is somehow they still manage to stand side by side one another. H always loved to bully Q and H felt she could be herself without feeling any fear. Q on the other hand was forever the victim but never once did he show his anger.

Q and H were busy so they hardly met but they still kept in touch. Technically Q was doing the keeping in touch as H was so stressed up and caught up with things till she actually went MIA from her close friends and never went out occasionally.

One fine day, Q met H and normal moments as usual took place. Q was telling H , he likes some girl. Q just listened and adviced as usual but never for a second asked who was that girl. H realized Q was not wanting to know who and all thus he himself asked H "Don't you want to know who is the girl ?". H then asked Q who the girl is with a smile on her face as she was excited for Q. Moments then Q replied it's you. H was shocked and all she could do was to hug Q and scolded Q for now realizing her presence.

Q and H still remained in the friendzone for GOD knows what reason. Few months down the road , Q and H had a massive fight and that fight sort of scared Q out. Q didn't want to loose the beautiful friendship they had and Q lost H once and he knew the pain of it. The best part was even if Q didn't explain what's bound to be said H knew immediately what it was all about. Q confessed he purposely created fight. H was upset she told Q next time just tell don't fight to get your message across.

Just recently , Q and H was insanely joking till H just said "I don't see the point of you being scared and even if I do go with other guys ; you better not be away from me". Without any thoughts , Q replied H " I won't also cause I am trapped with you". That kind of disturbed H mind the whole day. The following day , H asked Q again and Q said " I actually hope you get a nice guy who can take care of you". H was shocked and said chill got long way ahead of us till then we just enjoy la.

You know it is very rare to see this kind of friendship. Relationship is all about taking the risk while Friendship is all about trust.

Is your relationship going anywhere?

As a romance grows and the weeks turn into months, couples usually start to make plans together. Whether it's concert tickets for a few weeks away, or your first summer holiday together, making plans together is a sure signal that you're getting ready to commit. If, however, a few months have passed and you're still living in the moment and not looking beyond the present, it could well be that one or both of you isn't interested in getting serious.

Sure, it's nice to be told that you have a beautiful smile, gorgeous eyes and soft, silky hair - those kind of compliments are always welcome. But as a relationship develops, your partner will also make admiring comments about your personality - your intelligence, your humour, your compassion and your principles. The spiritual union of two people always begins by deep mutual admiration, so if you think that your partner is beginning to 'get you', then you're on your way to your relationship becoming a serious thing.

Hanging out, having fun and laughing are key parts of a relationship. If you and your partner can relax together, make jokes and really share moments of joy and good humour then it could be the start of a bond that will deepen into something special. Some say that laughter is the shortest distance between two people - it means having a common communication code. That's certainly an excellent omen for a lasting courtship.

Kissing can be wild, crazy, passionate - and it can be tender, cuddly and affectionate. Both kinds are very, very nice - but it's the tender affectionate kind that signals romance and commitment, rather than simple sexual attraction. If your partner kisses and hugs you spontaneously, with no apparent cause or reason other than to show you love, then you could well be onto a winner.

Now, we're not talking about rushing things and discussing love, kids and marriage when you've only been together a short time - that's often a good way to crush the delicate flower of a blooming romance. However, if you've been together four or five months and your partner is still completely evading some issues, you might just have a problem on your hands.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words, and that the eyes are the windows to the soul. If you can and your partner can look deep into each other's eyes and hold each other's gaze - no secrets - then it's a good signal that you're ready to commit to one another.

A serious relationship is based, in large part, on companionship and mutual support. If you've been dating your new partner for a while and they come to you with a problem or concern, or ask you for advice, then that indicates that you're becoming important to them and they value your opinion.

If your new partner arrives at your date with some small or big surprise, it indicates that they've been thinking of you. A person in love is in your head to be loved all day, and not only at times when you're together.Bear in mind that, as a relationship matures, it's little gestures like this that keep the love alive and prevent either of you feeling that you're being taken for granted.

A person who is happy in their new relationship wants to show their partner off to the world. The decision to introduce each other to friends or family may take a few weeks or maybe months, and it's advisable to take the time to get to know each other well first. However, if you've been together several months and your partner still isn't keen on you meeting their friends or family, then it might be that they're not taking the relationship seriously or they have something to hide.

One of the loveliest things about being in a caring relationship is having someone with whom to share your day-to-day news, gossip and gripes. If you can listen patiently as they talk about the troubles they've been having a rival at work - and they're happy to hear you moan about the stuff that's been bothering you too - then you're on your way to a committed and supportive relationship.
